4 Month Mark

Illa is now 4 months old. She has done some neat things this month. It sure is fun watching her grow!


She is ready for some new food. She watches everything Andy and I eat. Our upcoming doctor visit will let us know what foods we can feed her. We did go to the doctor a few times this month. Illa has had to battle a cold with fever and a little tummy virus. She had to stay home from school one day with her fever. We just hung out in our pj's and played. She was weighed at the doctor and weighs a little over 14 pounds! She is perfect in every way.

Wow! She has been trying to roll over the past couple of weeks, and today she did it!! We are so excited for her. She is getting better at sitting up. She leans forward when she sits up on her own, but she is getting there.

Boy can she talk. I guess it is the girl in her. She even said dada one time. I know she didn't realize it and I have been trying to get her to say it again. Illa talks nonstop on the way to school and the way home. What a busy girl. She even enjoys talking on the phone. She makes her cooing noises right back and tries to eat the phone. Besides the phone she puts everything in her mouth. Fingers, toys, blankets, mommy and daddy's fingers... You name it and she tries to fit it in there.


Illa got to sit on Santa's lap. She just giggled. We went and got her a pretty Christmas dress with tights for her picture! She can't wait to see what he brings her.
