7 Big Months

We have reached another month! Wow, how fast Illa is growing and changing.

One big thing she has learned this month is standing up. Illa says the heck with that crawling stuff, I want to walk. She can hold herself up for a few moments on the chair or the table. She can even take a few steps holding mommy or daddy's fingers. One day real soon, we are going to wish she would sit still.

Illa can now wave hi and bye. We have been praticing for a few weeks, and she's got it down. How precious she is when she opens and closes her hand with the big smile on her face. We are going to start working on blowing kisses.

Food, food, food. Illa's menu is growing. She is eating dinners now with meat and veggies mixed in them. I thought she may be hesitant, but she just gobbles them right up. Illa loves the melt-in-your-mouth puff treats. She is trying really hard to use her thumb and finger to pick them up. Illa is drinking from a sippy cup too. She does one feeding of fromula in it, and also juice. On Spring Break at Aunt Susan's house Illa ventured to try hush puppies... she loved them.

We have been anticipating teeth. You can see the white under our gums....We will keep you updated. Their arrival will be anytime.

She went on her first raod trip. What a trooper. We drove to North Carolina. She slept and played the whole way. She never fussed once. While we were there she met 3 Great Grandmas, lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She got to spend some time with grandpa and grandma that were there when she was born. We had a blast.

Everyone agrees, Illa is the most precious, beautiful baby in the world!

Until next month!
