9 Months- Tooth Fairy?

Hard to beleive another month has flew right by. Illa has blossomed this month.

I am calling on the Tooth Fairy. I know she takes teeth that have fallen out, but I am asking a favor- a delivery. Here we are entering month 10 and Illa is still toothless. Don't get me wrong, it sure doesn't keep her from enjoying a variety of foods. But those cute little teeth would be nice. There is one good sign she takes after me....she is a great eater. I am so blessed that Illa is really good about trying new things. Some new things she has tried this month are popsicles, cheese, asparagus, well there are just too many to name. Her favorites include green beans (she can eat almost a whole can at one meal), bananas (I've told her she may turn into one) and vanilla wafers. This month we have made the transition to ALL table food; no more jars. We have even gone to 2 bottles - morning and night. The rest of the day she drinks from a sippy cup. Illa is a big girl now!

Illa can get anywhere she wants...she just arrives with a dirty fanny. She is still scooting. However she has perfected it to an art. Instead of doing both feet at the same time she alternates the right and left. Illa found that can get her there in a jiffy. She is trying hard to pull up. She uses our hands to pull up and practice walking. We are playing games and doing different activities to get her to pull up and walk.

We sure are busy. Illa goes swimming. She loves to spash and kick around. She is even swimming in Grammy and Grandpa's big pool. We play in the sand all the time. Illa loves to play peek a boo, read books, shop (what girl doesn't), the list could go on! Every minute is exciting. Her expressions are full of wonderment and fascination. Her little sense of humor is also blossoming. Finding ways to make her laugh is fun. There is no better sound than to hear her laugh.

My first Mother's Day was unexplainable. Illa got me a charm for my bracelet. It will have her name and birthdate engraved on it. She made a poem for me at school. It's priceless. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I read it. She is certainly an angel from GOD! Andy is excited about his first Father's Day! Illa has been shopping for the perfect gift.

We look forward to the discoveries in month 10.

It's not all fun and games!
